Laura Langer is a medical speech‑language pathologist and Parkinson Voice Project’s Associate Chief Executive Officer. As Associate CEO, Laura is working side by side with our Founding CEO in a dedicated four-year executive partnership to become Parkinson Voice Project’s next CEO. This unique co-pilot succession plan is called “From Founder‑Led to Founder‑Inspired.”
Laura holds an MS in Speech‑Language Pathology from SUNY Fredonia and brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and higher education. Her background spans clinical practice in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health, as well as graduate‑level teaching and program leadership within communication sciences departments.
At Parkinson Voice Project, Laura supports Certified SPEAK OUT! Providers across the United States and internationally. She leads the organization’s continuing education initiatives and the expansion of SPEAK OUT! Therapy & Research Centers across America.
Laura remains an active clinician dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in New York and Texas.
