Her background spans clinical practice in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health, as well as graduate-level teaching and program leadership in communication sciences departments.
At Parkinson Voice Project, Shanon serves as the organization’s clinical quality and education leader, ensuring the integrity, consistency, and fidelity of the SPEAK OUT! Therapy Program across a growing international network of Certified SPEAK OUT! Providers.
Shanon is a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist and health literacy advocate committed to advancing quality care for individuals with Parkinson’s. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in Arkansas and Texas.
